| Mon | Spanish Immersion Class: By ParisAcademy Northwest | PANW offers Spanish immersion classes for students who wish to get a head-start before high school and have fun while learning a language. We use a curriculum that is carefully designed by language experts according to ACTFL standard. Students are introduced to new vocabulary and their correct pronunciation periodically following a theme. Cultural lessons are infused while expanding vocabulary. Lessons are constructed around five elements for elementary students: Total Physical Response Activities, Songs, Games, Crafts and Culture. Inspired by Montessori system, groups are organized by language level and age and work in groups or one to one to maximize learning outcome. | Fri | Kidokinetics Nothing but Nets: By Kidokinetics North Seattle | Experience the best of net sports with a thrilling combination of pickleball, tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball, and soccer tennis! This one-of-a-kind program is designed to be everything but ordinary. We'll focus on cardiovascular endurance, and introduce the techniques required and common to play all six of these incredible sports! Kids will be introduced to one sport each week, focusing on learning the basics, developing gross motor skills, enhancing hand-eye coordination, and boosting physical fitness, balance, agility, and teamwork. Every child will receive their own sports equipment and participate every time. Kidokinetics programming incorporates seven elements of fitness: Cardiopulmonary and Cardiovascular Endurance, Muscular Strength, Muscular Endurance, Flexibility, Agility, Balance, and Coordination, for comprehensive child development. Learning at Kidokinetics is all about having F.U.N: Fundamental, Understandable, and Noncompetitive. Your child will explore and grow without the pressures of competition, fostering self-esteem and self-confidence. With a variety of different sports and other important physical exercises, children will feel confident when playing any sport as they grow.
