STEM Learning: Enhances understanding of science, technology, engineering, and math concepts through practical application. Tue	CLAY CLASS – ADVENTURES BENEATH THE JUNGLE CANOPY!: By Cre8 Art School	There are so many amazing things in the jungle—how do you choose? From talkative tropical birds and camouflaged chameleons to mighty hippos and the coolest plants, students will explore it all. Along the way, they’ll learn about the layers of the rainforest and its rich vegetation, as well as the fascinating animals, fruits, flora, and people that call it home. Projects will include a precious clay hippo splashing through water, a pineapple bowl, a playful tropical bird, and adorable monkeys swinging from vines—just to name a few! Wed	Cheer/Pom Squad: By Chicago School of Musical Arts	Get ready to move, groove, and cheer in this high-energy class designed for young dancers! Led by a professional dancer, this class combines the excitement of cheerleading with the rhythm and style of hip-hop dance. Students will learn fundamental cheer motions, jumps, and chants while also exploring fun hip-hop choreography and freestyle movement. This upbeat class helps develop coordination, confidence, and teamwork in a positive and encouraging environment. Wed	Golf: By 4 Love of the Game Sports	This class will introduce the game of golf by teaching the basic fundamentals including proper grip, stance, swing, putting, and chipping as well as rules and proper etiquette of golf. Thu	Spanish Enrichment: By Beltran Spanish Tutoring	The overall objective of this class is to develop listening and speaking proficiency. One of the most useful language learning tools I use in my program is teaching through songs and music which helps to remove the fear of making mistakes. New concepts/themes will be introduced each week but we will be continuously using and reviewing vocabulary taught to help build a solid foundation. Thu	Game Design and Coding: By Lando Interactive Inc.	Students will explore coding fundamentals by designing and building games with Scratch. Fri	Running Club: By Junior Mavericks LLC	Our after school program is an introduction to running and geared toward students who want to learn the fundamentals of running skills in a fun and social environment. We teach your students through fun and games to learn proper technique of running. We run field-based races as well as teaching them to run with a baton. We teach them to work as a team while running as an individual. We develop the total athlete through fitness and strength exercises geared towards supporting running in a fun way. We help develop fitness for students who may need a little encouragement or help with their current sports teams. We meet athletes where they are physically, relationally and mentally. We help build confidence and sportsmanship through positive encouragement and fun team-building relay races.
