  • Student Safety is our Top Priority

    Our team takes important measures throughout our enrichment programs to keep students safe. For Right At School, that means having the right staff, training, and procedures in place to ensure the physical and emotional safety of all students.

    Programs designed to keep your students safe

    Right At School employs extensive safety procedures to ensure student safety from the moment they walk into our programs to when they are picked up by parents.  

    Check-in/out procedures

    We maintain constant communication with our registration team to have real-time records of which students should be attending our programs each day. Our local teams are in continuous communication with school administration and parents when necessary. Upon sign out, parents must come to the program in person. We also keep a record of authorized pickup lists and require photo ID at the time of pick up.

    Transition procedures

    We conduct ongoing attendance checks and Name-to-Face checks with every space change to ensure all students are accounted for throughout programming.

    Communication procedures

    Communication is critical to maintaining student safety. District leaders and parents are the first to be contacted and updated when any medical, safety, behavioral, or attendance issue occurs.

    Medical procedures

    We also partner with parents on children’s medical needs, from allergies to Epi-pens, as well as special needs, whether physical, behavioral, or emotional.

    We align with district safety procedures

    We know it’s important for students to have consistent emergency routines from the moment they enter school to the time they leave. Therefore, we partner with school security and administrators to ensure our procedures align with those of your district (e.g. school disaster plans and monthly drills).

    We carefully pre-screen all employees

    Having the right staff in place is critical to the safety and success of our enrichment programs. Our team members go through extensive background checks before and during employment with us.

    We are always prepared

    Through live training, monthly drills, quality checks, and compliance audits, we make sure that our onsite teams are fully prepared to implement safety procedures, address any safety concerns, and are ready to deal with unexpected events. Our teams also maintain certifications in first aid and CPR/AED and undergo ongoing training to maintain preparedness for any medical events that may occur.
