Letter Writing Prompt

Getting a letter in the mail is fun! Now is a great time to let friends and family know you’re thinking of them by reaching out to them with a personal post.

Sometimes when you sit down to write a letter it’s hard to get started.

Here’s a G.R.E.A.T. way to get message across and stay connected to the people important to you.

  • Greeting

(Hello, Hey buddy, What’s Up? Howdy!)

  • Remember something your reader likes and build on it.

(How’s your pet? Learn any new songs to play? Did you finish that game?)

  • Explain what you’ve been up to.

(I’ve been really into this new song. We tried out this new recipe. I’m starting a new hobby.)

  • Ask the reader a question.

(What are you reading? How’s your brother? Did you see that cool video?)

  • Toodle loo!

Say your goodbyes and sign your name.

If you’re feeling crafty, try make a cool pop up card like this one!
