Frequently Asked Questions About Specialty Camps
Specialty Camps are unique weekly camps focusing on a particular activity. That activity could be a sport, an art, science related etc. Each camp is different from the next and registration is required for each week and are separate from our full day Summer Camp.
Absolutely! Our Summer programs offer loads of flexibility when it comes to registration. You can sign up your child for various weeks of our full day Summer Camp, any week of Specialty and both. The choice is yours, but hurry space might run out
They can! Your summer might already be packed. So if your kiddo is interested in only one or more Specialty Camps, you can register for only that program week!
Your child should wear weather-appropriate clothing for indoor and outdoor activities. Rainy-day gear, rain boots, or other closed-toed shoes and layers are always best! Make sure your child wears clothes that they can play in, and please do not wear anything that cannot get dirty.
Safety has always been our top priority. Our staff is properly trained in camp safety, and we take every precaution to keep your children comfortable throughout the year. Our schedule allows for a mix of indoor and outdoor play and will be adjusted to keep all campers safe during changes in weather, such as colder or hotter temperatures, windy days, the presence of rain, etc.

- For any week you have already signed up for our full day Summer Camp but want to register for a Specialty Camp that week, cancel that registration. WHY?
Specialty Camps include free before care so you’ll only need to add on care for the time after the Specialty Camp course ends for that week. (saving you $$) - Now you’re ready to start registration for your Specialty Camp week.
- Navigate through your account to add the Specialty Camp option, and make sure to select the “Add Summer Camp” option to your registration to complete the full registration.
- Walk through the steps to checkout, and you’re all set!
Stay tuned! Child drop-off and pick-up procedures will be released prior to your child’s first day of camp in accordance with your district’s request and your state’s public health requirements at that time.
If your child is enrolled in both Summer Camp and Specialty Camps, you can drop off your child during the time designated for our full day Summer Camp, and Right At School staff will transition children enrolled in Specialty programs for that week to and from the designated Specialty Camp area via protocols.
Snacks are not provided for Specialty Camps but are provided in full day Summer Camp. Students are welcome to bring their own nut-free snacks from home if they prefer.
Payment is due in full at the time of registration. If a class is canceled, you will be issued a full refund.
Any student in the host district (and in some cases, neighboring school districts) may enroll in Specialty Camps! Please note that individual courses have age limits, as the curriculum is suited to children in a particular age range.
A full refund will be provided if you contact Customer Service and cancel prior to the first scheduled class.
